How Can I Maximize My LinkedIn Network To Generate Pipeline?
Most sales professionals create a great network on LinkedIn (500+ connections), and then they fail to stay in touch with these connections over time. Best-in-class sales professionals not only invest the energy to connect with new connections on LinkedIn, they also do the following:
Step 1: Request to connect
Step 2: Once connected, send a sequence of at least 2-3“gives” prior to ever asking for a “get”
Step 3: Post regular content via LinkedIn (LinkedIn articles, Photos, Videos, etc)
Step 4: Create a regular cadence of reaching out to your first connections with something of value (invitation to a physical or virtual event with a VIP code perhaps, or an analyst white paper that offers value pointing out a relevant point for example)
Step 5: Rinse and repeat. Continue connecting with 50 – 100new contacts/day, post valuable content regularly, and reach out quarterly or at least every 6-12 months to your first connections.
Step 6: For those who really want to get creative, export contacts from LinkedIn who meet your ideal client profile every so often,append a direct phone number, and call them (using agent-assisted dialing preferably, so you can talk to these first degree connections at will every 2-3minutes)
